Travel Information for International Delegates
International delegates, other than New Zealand passport holders, must have a valid passport and entry visa before travelling to Australia. New Zealand passport holders do not usually need to lodge a visa application prior to their departure unless they have health and/or character concerns.
There are different procedures for international delegates to apply for entry visas depending on their country of citizenship. Information about these is available on the web site of the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship at this address:

Please note that it is the policy of the conference office not to supply an invitation letter to unpaid or unregistered delegates as it is not required and does not assist in the visa application process. Upon payment of registration, delegates will receive a confirmation letter of acceptance of registration and receipt of payment.
